Confirmed from Harvard Gulch Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Harvard Gulch Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (829 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“The pool is clean and not very busy.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“The park is a great spot for walking and exercising and offers beautiful views of the mountains.”

This is a great park for many things. There's a jungle gym swing set for the kiddos, plenty of space to have a picnic or play an outdoor game, a nice loop around the park that is exactly 1 mile, a golf course inside the park, as well as a pool. Park is nice and clean.

★★★★★ — Stacy , Apr 2023

I love this park. They have everything you need in a park and then some. Wonderful green space to run and play.

★★★★★ — Lou , Apr 2021

It is a multiuse park with a par 3 golf course, a basketball court and baseball fields, a playground, gym, an outdoor pool and a police station. My group meets there during the pandemic to talk and eat a light dinner. We have a mountain view, and it is walking distance from my home.

★★★★★ — Larry , Oct 2020

Great park with playground, pool, rec center (and polling location), golf course, and trail.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 3 mentions

“My one complaint is that the parking lot is a bit confusing with the SWAT team being right next door and not knowing which spots are reserved for police.”
