Confirmed from Hawthorn Park- Vigo County Parks and Recreation Department's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Casual, nature-immersed campground and park featuring trails as well as swings and slides, BBQ grills, picnic tables and playground.

Without doubt the best park in Terre Haute, with nice lake, greens, campgrounds and shelters. Just behind of Rose Hulman, this is a nice place to roam around in the trail. Recommended for a nice time near water.
Beautiful Park with a great little trail. It was a little cluttered from the recent storm, but overall, you can tell it's kept in great condition!
Very peaceful. Keep your eyes open while walking to and from your vehicle. I noticed a couple of people staring at my wife and I. Just be aware of your surroundings. Otherwise, it's beautiful and quiet.
Great trails with awesome ponds for fishing. Fun for the whole family. Also a playground for kids.
