Confirmed from Hayes Arboretum East Side Entrance's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hayes Arboretum East Side Entrance
“Very well maintained trails, we parked by the tunnel and walked a bit , picked up a geocache while in the area, not crowded at all as not one person was around at the time.”

Hayes Arboretum trails are a hidden gem in Indiana. Use the East entrance gravel parking to access the trails. The entire park is well-maintained, with no sign of trail erosion or excessive overgrowth. All the trails I rode were single track, well marked, and easy to follow.
beautiful trail - tons of wildlife! we see deer every visit. stay in the paved trail and it loops past a fountain and some very pretty wooded areas; if you crave adventure jump on the blue or red trails but beware of cyclists.
We went walking on the gravel path, not realizing we were at the biking trails area. The biking trails seems well maintained (by volunteers!!)
Pretty cool mountain bike trails. Smooth and flowy with a few wooden features. Best ridden clockwise for a progressively more difficult trail with each new section. There are dirt road crossings between each section for an easy return to the car if you don't want to finish the whole park.
