Confirmed from Hayes Arboretum's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

My husband and I got married here and I could have not asked for a more perfect location. We also got a year membership to explore the trails and it's SO worth it. Steve Hayes Jr. was incredibly kind.

Really beautiful place to visit. One of the best indoor nature centers I've seen, and we travel a lot!! Also a really incredible outdoor play space for kids, with a teepee, mud kitchen, sandpit, etc. My kids loved the trails too!! Highly recommend!

Loved the well maintained trails of all ability types and the bike trails, walking trails, and beautiful grounds. It's like an oasis. Bring water. Doggy stand if you forget supplies. If you google address it will take you to locked service road, but parking lot is easy to find once you get close.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
