Confirmed from Heller Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Smallish Neighborhood Park with a very small children’s playground— a few swings, and a small structure with slide and climbing things. Street parking around the park. Restrooms are available. A few Picnic tables, and a couple of benches. A nice green space for your dog to run around in. Beautiful trees for shade.

★★★★☆ — Joyful , Oct 2025

We got there around 3:30 pm on a weekday, boy was it crowded! No more tire swing😭 The playground has sand, 2 playsets with monkey bars running in between and about 4 slides. 2 baby swings and 2 regular swings.

★★★★☆ — Cassandra , Mar 2021

This park offers a large play structure best suited for children ages 5 and up. There's a lot of open field space with trees providing mediocre shade, as well as covered seating area, restrooms, and water fountains.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 13 mentions
