We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Hemlock Curve Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hemlock Curve Trailhead
“This is a wonderful easy hike with well marked trails.”
This out of the way trail is perfect. The trailhead makes it feel like you are not where you should be going because of the no trespassing signs. The trail is easy and gorgeous.
This is a wonderful easy hike with well marked trails. Maintained and clear trail heads.
Easy level hiking with shaded, sunny, and several waterfront access points. Pretty much flat. I think the whole loop is 2 miles but there are several branches you can follow from the marked trail. I walked 3 or 4 miles. Very secluded and not highly traveled on a monday.
So happy we found this little gem of a trail to walk the dogs on. Watch out for little Kling- On's (Burdock's) we spent some time brushing them out of the dogs but it was worth it 😃
