Confirmed from Heroes Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Low-key park with slides and a playground for kids, plus a walking trail for adults.
What runners say about Heroes Park
“Plenty of shade and really clean.”
This is one of my family's favorite locations. Its small size ensures that there is rarely more than a handful of other people there at any time. And the paved walking track provides a good place for small children to ride their various toys while the adults get in some light exercise.
The walking path is uneven due to tree roots, but the playground equipment was fun for us. We really enjoyed all the pine trees and the little one was excited to play on the slide. (It's a toddler sized one)
Great little park for small children. It also has a small walking area around it. We love this park!
Trail conditions & character
“the bathrooms leave alot to be desired, but considering that they are port a petty's they were great.”
