We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Heyburn Arboretum yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Heyburn Arboretum
“This is a gorgeous location as it's nestled against the Snake River.”
Fantastic park with tables, benches, and shade. Park extends along the river with multiple access areas (although swimming access needs to be expanded). The walking path is probably the best in mini-cassia.
Such a beautiful and fun place! Tons of shade throughout the park from the trees (not on the playground though), a good walking trail along the river goes through the park, and it has river access as well very close by!
Really nice path with lots of diff kinds of trees. It's right along the beautiful snake river. Only takes about 30 minutes and there is rv camping, picnic tables, playground and restrooms nearby. Some of the trees have died and some of the identification signs are deteriorated.
City of Heyburn is doing great with planting trees in the area. Great walking path
