Confirmed from Hidden Falls Park & Amargosa Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood greenspace with picnics areas, barbecues, basketball & a playground, plus a skate park.

Excellent place to hike. Absolutely Gorgeous and the view is BREATHTAKING. If you want a view from every angle above Vegas....Do yourself a favor and go hiking at this Hidden gem. You will not be disappointed. Absolutely Breathtaking.
Great night for a quick hike. Lots of room to take your dogs. Plenty of parking. Lots of trails to chose from. Coming back during the day for a longer trek.
First time at these trails. Took my dog and walked a fairly level path for my introduction. Plus is was getting late. Looks like a place I definitely want to return to and explore. The only down part for me is I can have a difficult time walking. And, my dog & I veered off the main Trail.
Beautiful hiking experience at 10pm. Very clean and there are rocks to sit at on the top of the hill. Even toddler friendly as long as they hold an adult hand at all times.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
