Confirmed from Hidden Meadows Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Beautiful, quiet neighbourhood park with two newer playground structures, with plenty of options for both younger and older kids.”

🌳 shaded & cool 6 mentions

“The walk to the park is very pleasant as you pass a water fountain, shade trees and archways.”

Good size park I finally stoped to check out this park after passing through it for many years. The playground area looks fairly new. They have a few gazibos with tables to sit at and bbq. The park is large and the have a fence by the street to keep kids from running in traffic.

My review of Hidden Meadows Park: It is aptly named. It is very quiet and rarely used. It could accommodate large parties very easily. It is tucked behind the north side of Arrow Head Mall in Peoria. The only parking is across the street in a strip mall.

Gorgeous, spacious, and well maintained park! Plenty of trees for shade, benches for rest, water fountains, and play areas for children. Parking is a fairly difficult because there is only street parking available, but the nearby Salon Boutique parking lot isn't too far of a walk if you're like me and don't like…

It's a neighborhood park so there aren't many places to park vehicles. The park is always clean. No restroom but plenty of shopping plazas and Aarowhead mall are in walking distance.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 11 mentions

“Parking is on the side of the road, and it seems like plenty for how busy this park was on a weekday in November.”
