Great walk with a very nice view at the top. My 5 yr old boy made it and as for my little 3 yr old, let's say my legs were feeling it the next day after carrying her. Keep an eye out for 1 way trails to promote social distancing.
Excellent views from this vista point. You need to take the Wild Cat loop trail to come here (the longer one). There are a couple of places you can exit the wild cat loop trail and go back to the entrance but this is a bit longer one and the views are really nice. You can find deers running along with you in the trail!
Tree lined ridges tower behind the vista point, which provides a beautiful view over Mountain View and SF Bay. Oaks dominate here, though the occasional Eucalyptus dwarfs them in size. Close to car parking and easily accessible the vista is part of an extensive trail network popular for various activities.
Ha, why am I not surprised to be asked for this review? Rancho San Antonio is a wonderful, if crowded gem. And the High Meadow Vista is always a stop on a hike. With a wonderful view and located at a nexus of awesome trails, it's a must-stop pinnacle for every trip.
