We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Highlands dam - riverwalk yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Highlands dam - riverwalk
“Beautiful 😍 you can see Phenix city al and clear to downtown Columbus”
Trailhead for Riverwalk heading South along the river. Great views of the dam and river and a peaceful atmosphere. Drop point for kayakers.
This is one of our favorite places to walk and bike. I could never find it on maps until today. It's a great area for picnics, pictures, and family fun.
Not much shade. Went when it was very hot out. Need to go when it's cooler
