We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Moon Lake Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering a lake, picnic tables, a playground, and a tennis court, plus trails for walking.
What runners say about Moon Lake Park
“But the trails are nice as well, you can either walk around the lake or take the side path that leads into the trees, the trees are beautiful.”
“5 because its the best park in phenix city (not because its the best park NOT AT ALL) but it is quiet good place to run plenty of big big hills in sight of park.”
Came here a couple times. I would rate it a 5 star, but I feel like it’s one of those places you stumble upon if you live nearby just to get some exercise. It’s nothing too crazy like a must-see but it’s very peaceful. The lake has a walkway along the entirety of it and is equipped with multiple sitting areas.
I love walking around the lake. Haven't seen any beavers lately, hopefully they have been taken care of.
I love this little lake. It's a nice walk, there are many ducks/ birds so be ware. The ducks don't bother you though if you don't bother them. They just look at you, almost daring you to do something, lmao.
Excellent spot for a brisk walk or a casual stroll around a small pond. Many waterfowl and various other wildlife are on display in the warmer months. There are shaded benches inlocated at various points so you can sit and relax, put your mind at ease, and just take in the scenery.

“The only way I would love it more is if I could bring my puppy to walk there, since there are no dogs allowed on the walking track.”
