Confirmed from Highlands Ranch Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreational park featuring a playground, picnic areas, volleyball court, and dog park.

Very clean Park and bathrooms are well-kept but most of All CLEAN every morning , people you meet here are friendly , nice place to walk , and exercise they have a volleyball area , a basketball court , and Football area Plus a tennis court ,and a fence in area for small children to play and it's not crowded like most…
So glad the basketball nets are back up! Now let's open to parking lot, please. Ball yard, huge field, beach volleyball pit, tennis court, basketball court, children's playground, 1/3-mile run/walk loop, massive dog park, large picnic gazebo, bbq pits, plus the greatest community in the CCC make this park a fun place…
Big park, trees, hills and an intact fence. Great people, beautiful dogs. I stay until after dark, and when I left tonight there were still 7 dogs and 12 people there. They have a smaller fenced area for small dogs, a hose to refill the buckets they have for water.
First dog park I’ve ever been to once I’ve gotten my first dog. Took her here and it was amazing!!! I love this park and very family friendly as well! Great for parties and just taking a walk as well. I’ve only had 1 time I had to confront a dog owner about their aggressive dog and that was about a year ago.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
