Climb to the top to get a excellant view of the surrounding area. Has trails to the top. Nice place to relax and meditate.
If you're traveling between Columbia and York, HighPoint is just a 2 mile detour from Rt. 30. And I highly recommend the quick excursion. This place was awesome! My wife and I had finished with out plans for the day and still had a few hours of daylight left. Everything around here closes at 5 so we were just looking for something cheap and different to do. Somehow we stumbled on this place. What a gem.
The view is amazing!! The paved trail has 6 markers and the 6th is located at the top. There are trails on both sides if the paved trail. This is a great place to relax, enjoy the view and breathe in the fresh air!!
