I went here once to film a short video for a college project and that led me down a rabbit hole of adventure, misfortune, happiness, sadness, peace, tranquility, and just downright fun. I’ve made so many memories here. There’s something almost mystical about it’s many terrains and habitats you can find here.
Nice trail walk, some good swimming holes on Labarque Creek. Not usually crowded. Several trails. Good place to take the dogs!
The trails are very well taken care of. There are two ponds that I've seen in my travels there and of course the creek. The few passerbys I've seen on the trail we re polite and courteous folks.
Excellent hiking area. Moderate hills and can be muddy after rain. This is part of the LaBarque Creek watershed and the beautiful Creek runs through the site. Gravel parking lot. One of my favorite places to hike. Dogs are allowed.
