Confirmed from Hillside Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space with a playground, picnic tables, and soccer field, as well as running and bike trails.
What runners say about Hillside Park
“Beautiful place to take pictures.”
“Playground is great, rated ages 5-12 but my littles had plenty of fun, wood chips base, foliage around to quiet out passing cars far up a hill to 14000 S.”
Nice little area to hang out. There is a big open grassy field. It's big enough to have soccer practice. There is a playground with a covered picnic table next to it. There is a man-made stream/fountain running through next to the playground (which doesn't seem the safest to me) that is nice to listen too.
Lovely little park. It's right by 114 so you'd think the road would be loud and you'd have to watch the kids, but the road is actually way up above the park, so it's really quite quiet and there's now danger of the kids running into the busy street. There's some nice tables in the shade.
The parks and trails in this area are great, there's a dog hating douche bag that lives across the street tho. Watch out for him, he's a character. 😊
No parking lot but curb area close by. We'd for sure go again! A fun waterfall feature to toss rocks and leaves in, but would definitely keep close eye on littles because of fall risk.
