Confirmed from Hilltop Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Area with kid-friendly hiking trails that include challenging ups and downs.
What runners say about Hilltop Trail
“Wonderful way to enjoy nature easy hike on the short loop.”
Hiked 8 miles worth of trails. Lots of ups and downs but well worth it
Quite and peaceful hike with great views. Went 5 miles and only saw 2 couples. However, if you care about getting a bit muddy and a slip here or there. You better stick with road.
I really enjoyed these trails. They are well maintained however I wish the trail heads were easier to find in the park. They are marked well on the trails though and that is the most important part. This entire park is amazing.
Good trail, well enough maintained for a healthy person to easily hike it, but not well enough for anyone disabled to. It turns to ankle deep mud at some points, so don't wear nice running shoes.
