Confirmed from Hojack Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hojack Trail
“Well kept for the most part, and other users have been friendly and respectful from my experience.”
“A beautiful place to walk or run and enjoy the gorgeous scenery along the way.”
This is a wonderful walk through history on an old abandoned railroad bed. The trail is well maintained with plenty of room for walkers and cyclists. All the side trails make this a place you'll want to explore again and again.
Nice long flat trail that goes from lake ontario to north ponds park. You can park at north ponds park or vosburg hollow. It's part of the wegmans trail passport and you can find it near the vosburg hollow entrance. This trail is good for biking as well! Little trails off the beaten path too. It's 5 miles one way!
A beautiful hiking trail. It actually is an old rail road line converted into a walking trail. Lots of off shoots with trails in the woods too. Good for runs walk bike rides and all! A just see in Webster and near the lake.
Awesome for walking. It can get wet in spots in the spring and after heavy rains but is just a great relaxing trail
