Confirmed from Homewood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Compact park also featuring a playground, a trail and a play structure for kids.
What runners say about Homewood Park
Nice little nature trail connecting two adjacent neighborhoods. One side has a park bench and is near a church. The other side leads to a children's playground and another park bench. At the corner there's a nice little corner store too.
Small park bordering a church with a quaint little trail that feels very woody. Great for young children and small dogs, but wouldn't recommend for larger dogs with more energy.
Wondeful wood chip path through the park that is guaranteed to make you believe you're in the forest. Great for being part of your neighborhood walks. Also a good playground for the kids and a picnic area.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
