Confirmed from Honey Run Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering a waterfall, miles of hiking trails, and a public restroom.
What runners say about Honey Run Park
“There is a wonderful waterfall, a beautiful river, and you can wander over the rocks off the trail to find your own sights.”
Honey Run park and Waterfall are both very nice for a family adventure in the woods. The walk from the parking lot to the falls is short and not very difficult. Most of the path is mulched and shaded. There are steps near the falls to take you to another pathway to walk over towards the river.
Wow, this place is really awesome. Kinda like the Hocking Hills, but without as far to drive, and pretty much all back roads to get there. Several benches in the area, if you want to sit and stay awhile. Expect it to be extremely busy on hot days with lots of kids. Ample parking lot across the street.
Nice little park. Short walk on partially paved path. Pretty accessible for most all folks. You can hear the falls upon entry and enjoy the sound while you relax on the benches.
A beautiful waterfall only a short walk from the parking area across the street. A very nice spot for photography. A small pool and some rocks below the south facing falls. There is a bridge to cross the stream- allows you to get to both sides of the falls, a couple of benches in the area.
