Confirmed from Hoosier National Forest - Two Lakes Loop Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area featuring trails through a forest setting with picnic tables.
What runners say about Hoosier National Forest - Two Lakes Loop Trail
“They haven't been clean it up You well have wet feet/shoes Muddy shoes I cross Creek 2 or 3 times I love nature So wet shoes and feet and Muddy I love”
“Got a little hard to follow a couple times with all the fall leaves on the ground but it was a beautiful time to be on trail.”
“The trail was a little sloppy with all the rain but it was well marked and easy to follow.”
Did an overnight backpacking trip, 11 or 12 miles. Nice trails, hills not terribly bad. Didn't care for hunting being allowed while hikers were present. Be sure to wear orange if you go in November.
Beautiful woods to hike. Trails climb up hills and down valleys. Could use better trail maps and trail markers to decipher where the trails are and where they are heading.
Beautiful, well maintained trail. It has the perfect amount of elevations to get your heart rate up but not reduce the mileage. Fun trail, we did the Lake Celina side
We had a great time there this May. The trail was a little sloppy with all the rain but it was well marked and easy to follow. It had some good elevation changes to challenge us but it wasn't overly difficult. We did about 9.5 miles the first day and completed the loop the next morning.
