Beautiful place to go spend some time outside, biking paths, trails to walk, view of the Hudson, great fishing. There's an area to hold events. Very large property and volunteers are working hard to keep everything spiffy.
Nice park with options for short walks or longer hikes. Beautiful views of the Hudson River. At the northern point of the island (Eagle Point), there is an excellent view of the L-shaped dam that allows boats to safely travel along the canal side of the island.
A wonderful place to walk along the Hudson and listen to the birds. Walk across the wooden bridge spanning the Hudson. Then take the tow path walk across from the Locks. Enjoy!!
