Confirmed from Saratoga County Kalabus Perry Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic property boasting looping trails, some groomed for fat bikes in winter, plus a kids' area.
What runners say about Saratoga County Kalabus Perry Trails
“Great place to go on a hike or biking, well marked trails too!”
“Very nice smooth trails for easy walking through tall trees.”
Great trails with diverse terrain! There is a mountain bike/ kids area in the middle. Soft trail is good for horses. No hunting allowed on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Plenty to explore!
Really enjoy the trails. I will say that navigating the loop is challenging because there are so many trails intersecting. But it's a great place to hike.
Horse friendly trails. Great for laid back riding and just enjoying nature. Easy and easy out loop for truck and trailer.
This is a moderate hike that is used bike bikes and horses as well. You have to be careful not to step in the occasional pile of horse dung. Bring the bug spray on a warm day or they will drive you nuts. Although the trail is marked fairly well I would have liked to see some distance markers.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
