Confirmed from Hummel Park Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This small park has an indoor event facility & hosts nature classes & summer day camps for children.
What runners say about Hummel Park Nature Center
“Beautiful trails made for a great walk with my fur-babies.”
“It's quiet, the nature sounds are relaxing and it feels like a big leap out of the city.”
Great hiking place. Disc golfing. Juts throw the ball back and forth. The children's playground is also cool to just sit around the green areas and enjoy the fresh air. The picture w the name of the park is the entrance to the hiking part of park. You drive in and take first left.
Beautiful and fun. My kids loved the little park and the awesome slides. We plan to come back. We are excited to do some hiking on the trails and hope the nature center opens soon.
A place full of trails, I guess a perfect place for hiking. I went there as an afternoon walk. Tables and benches were looking so dirty like no one cleaned those ever.
This is a nice free park in the outskirts of Omaha. The view is amazing. The hiking trail is steep enough to get your heart pumping. It's quiet and peaceful. A must.
