Great trails. No amenities, but the trails are well maintained. It’s a very relaxing place to visit, and I was happy to find a few hills in Omaha for hiking. You could easily spend the day here
A very beautiful park here in North Omaha. It is an offshoot of Fontanelle Forest, the trail system is not as long though. I really enjoyed it. It is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for children (2-17), children under 2 is free.
Fantastic hiking trails! Not a whole lot in the way of amenities -- payments are made in an honor system, and there's a building that nobody mans, but if you're not going for an all-inclusive experience -- if you just want to get out and explore nature -- it's a fantastic, out-of-the-way place to go hiking.
Pretty place. Lots of oak trees. Numerous trails of varying challenge levels, well marked. Maps available at the parking lot. One route takes you to the banks of the Missouri. If you're not a member, do bring a $5 for the fee box to support the facilities.
