Confirmed from Hungerford Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Something for all ages and stages!”

I think the inside has a lot of cute things for the kids. There's not a lot of animals to see outside mostly goats and a few llamas. I guess there's a skunk but we didn't see it. I like the little garden area that was cute for the kids over by the trail. One thing I didn't really like in the playground area ....

Took my 3 year old on a field trip here. Perfect for the pre-school crowd! Lots of little critters inside and each exhibit is interactive and hands on. Outside is fantastic- great playground, little hiking trails, and more animals. The staff were great with kids and very nice. I will buy the membership, worth it!

We love hungerford .the animals and the workers are always so nice .and we can't forget about the hiking trail that my 4 year old makes me so every time ! It's beautiful and quiet

Great for the kids, a pond and wooded area, farm and other animals which reside in Connectcut. An educational history lesson for younger children.
