Confirmed from Ragged Mountain Memorial's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Trails are well marked and for the most park well kept.”

Great place with fun trails. Dog friendly and kid friendly. Amazing views of the reservoir and surrounding areas. Trails are well marked and for the most park well kept. There few trees down but that's normal. It did not make too much of an obstacle. Great place all together. Definitely will be back again.

One of the best trails in Central CT, very easily accesible in the middle of several towns yet on the trail you feel completely surrounded by only nature. Very decent amount of elevation with many ups and downs and multiple vistas overlooking nearby ponds and resevoirs.

Parked at timberline golf course took a complete Loop which was over 9 mi definitely challenging at times but doable very Rocky very slippery with lots of mud. Trails are marked pretty well there is a view at the top at the top.

Fantastic hiking area, it is expansive so I recommend you research the trails beforehand.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
