I took the Metacomet Trail Loop which according to my phone was 4.1 miles. Alltrails says it's moderate which is accurate if you are fit. I would describe myself as a fit fat guy. I did it in about an hour and a half. There are some very nice views and the trail is reasonably well marked.
Beautiful trails which can lead to some breathtaking overlooks of the reservoir. And every trail I've taken here has led me to somewhere magickal.

Nice tail - we started clockwise and completed 5.5miles in 4 hours and 30minutes. This is a challenging trail and very rocky, so I would recommend to use proper gears like hiking shoes, and trekking poles. It has its fair amount of rocky ascends and depends.. make sure you have enough water..
