Confirmed from Hunterdon County Arboretum's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature park with walking trails, a canopy, and creeks, and a kid-friendly Wizard Trail.

“The grounds are well maintained and overall it is a very nice place.”
“The arboretum is a beautiful place for photos, a picnic, or to just spend the day.”
Beautiful place to spend an afternoon. Gated so that deer can't come in and eat everything. Love the Wizard Walk for kids. Cool castle, wooden animals to find, and a story to read while you walk. Picnic tables there a well. Beautiful place for a snack
Really pretty place and super nice if you have small children. It’s set up with educational stops for them. Not really the place for dedicated hikers. Just not enough space but what’s there it Easily accessible.
A little wet after snow melt, but a fine place for a stroll. There are a couple miles worth of trails on the property. Dogs are permitted on leash. Lots of mature and interesting trees.
Beautiful arboretum! Great place to go on a prayer walk or just spend time in God's beautiful creation!

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
