Confirmed from Inspiration Garden's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
A variety of gardens (including a kids' area) with flowers, a creek and trails.
What runners say about Inspiration Garden
“A beautiful demonstration garden that has transformed this piece of land, which was once a log yard, then overrun with scotch broom.”
“It's peaceful to walk through and amazing to see in the summer when everything is growing like crazy.”
We love walking through inspiration gardens. The various styling of the gardens are so fun. I enjoy learning the names of the trees and plants. I will definitely return. Plus we got to see this fella there wading in the pond! How cool!!
A short walk from my Airbnb, this place was on my list. Walked my dog through the entire space and it is beautiful. I love the sidewalk since it’s perfect for people with disabilities and strollers with kids. It was well thought out and really well kept.
The Inspiration Garden has a paved path throughout, so it's accessible for strollers, wheelchairs and walkers. It has many beautiful and themed garden areas like the Asian Garden, peace garden, medicinal, childrens, pollinator and more. It also includes a Little Free Library.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
