Confirmed from International Forest of Friendship's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Landscaped park featuring trees from around the world as well as historical plaques.
What runners say about International Forest of Friendship
“It is well maintained, very nicely landscaped, & well thought out.”
“A beautiful space to walk, sit or meditate.”
“The atmosphere was serene, a true escape from the hustle of life.”
My wife and I recently had the most amazing time at the International Forest of Friendship. Trees from all over the world in one place, creating this breathtaking mosaic of colors and scents. As we wandered along the trails, we viewed plaques representing different countries. Each had the type so tree and the country.
A beautiful space to walk, sit or meditate. We walked around and read the different memorial plaques. The benches were nicely spaced out so mom could sit and rest as much as she needed to. This little park is a treasure!
I always enjoy the stroll through the vast number of trees. It is an easy walk on paved paths and I love how each tree is marked. My dog and I visit often.
What a peaceful location. We sat under the pavilion and ate sandwiches before walking around the gardens and identifying trees from around the world!
