Confirmed from Jackson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large, well-kept park with shelters, playgrounds for the young ones, Frisbee golf and hiking trails.
What runners say about Jackson Park
“Clean, great equipment, just wish there was somewhere to get out of the wind for a few minutes”
“Great views and its bigger than youd think for a small town.”
Excellent children's Park with playground; nice frisbee golf, hiking trails, shelters, picnic spots, and sand volleyball areas.
Very beautiful park. Very large. Hiking trails. Definitely don't come here at night though if you are scared of the paranormal though. Because this place is a hot spot for energy. As soon as it turns dark, this park feels like it's watching you. You can here things moving around in the trees.
Great park with many amenities spread over a large park area. Something for everyone from a sensory friendly playground to volleyball pits, a shelter house, disc golf hiking trails and more.
I love it here. Practically live here. There are trails and a playground. Volleyball courts, picnicking and charcoal grills. Great views and its bigger than youd think for a small town.
