This is a beautiful interurban trail. I ran the section between S 380th St and Kent St. It is a paved trail about 12 feet wide. It is surrounded by wooded hillsides and ravines on either side. There are several benches and restroom areas along the way. Many sections have long fence rows along the trail.
Short 1.8 mile paved hike with a small grade. Fun walk today and smelled a carpet of skunk cabbage in bloom. Also saw mountain beaver tunnels and pileated woodpeckers eagerly pounding out termites from some trees
Edit: It turns out this may become a possibility as soon as next year. Same with the Milton - Fife segment too It would be nice if this trail was connected to the Pacific / Tukwila Interurban. Overall not a bad trail by itself, even if it is only a mile long.
People should check out the Foothills Trail from Puyallup and ride it all the way to Buckley and soon Enumclaw once the trail bridge gets built in Spring/Summer 2024 They have plans about linking this trail with the foothills trail and other trails.
