Confirmed from Salmon Run Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
A 2.31-acre natural, grassy park known for its creek & salmon conservation.
What runners say about Salmon Run Nature Park
It is a peaceful neighborhood little park. Good to sit and watch the creek. Or walk a little dog.
With a crushed rock walking trail, creek-side overlook, and lawn; passive and active recreation opportunities abound for a fairly small park. Located just across Issaquah Creek from Gilman Village, this is a great spot to toss a Frisbee in the summer or watch the salmon spawn in the fall.
This park has a gravel trail that parallels Issaquah Creek with a few short offshoots. There is also an open grass field. There are many riparian shrubs and trees near the creek. There is a stone parking area adjacent to the park. Overall an excellent park.
Love this place. It's a great picnic spot or just a spot to lay out in the sun on the grass. It's just a tiny little green spot, but it is very charming. The small walking trail has permanent labels strewn about the foliage, so you can learn all about what grows there.

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
