Confirmed from Jacinto Port Tract's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Jacinto Port Tract
“Pretty much no one comes here but it's a beautiful hike and the only foot access to the bayou”
Beautiful hiking trail. It is quite a hike though so wear good shoes and come prepared for a trek. We saw 3 deer, armadillos, and lots of coyote poop. A great adventure for the kids. They will sleep good tonight!
Bring insect repellent, the bugs are unreal here, especially the mosquitos! It is straight wilderness with some marshy, swampy wetlands. Sunscreen and a hat recommended. Bring water, it is hotter then h*ll. Saw a few turkeys off in the distance, but thankfully, they did not see us.
If you are looking for walking trails into the woods, then this place is for you. It is not a park for kids, there is no equipment to play on. It is just walking trails.
