I love walking here. I try to get on the trail every chance I can. Lots of other people exercising, walking their pets,jogging,riding bikes. It's scenic and beautiful. Fresh air and just a great place to be. This is my wellness getaway.
Loved this trail. Started at the nice riverfront and walked to Battery Park. 8.3 miles total. Will be back.
The head of this trail starts at a nature center with a small museum staffed with excellent people eager to tell you all about the tidal marshes of upper Delaware. The trail itself starts on a great boardwalk through the marsh, and will go a good long way. They have nice informative plaques along the way.
Awesome trail for biking, walking and running. The area is very safe, patrolled regularly. It's become very popular; the trail heads can be a bit busy at times. Enjoy the views and wildlife!
