Great, hilly rides from here to the Brandywine Zoo, up Monkey Hill, North along the Brandywine to Alapocas Run, then back up toward Rockford Park and down to Bancroft Mills, back to Rockford Park, then down to the Brandywine by the DoPont Expiremental Station, and back to Rockford Park again.
Beautiful park. Nice walking/run path. Lovely view if you visit and climb the tower. Great location for gathering for events/fundraising, 5K walks etc.
Beautiful park. Dog friendly. Vast rolling grass hill surrounded by hiking hills studding with boulders and majestic trees on one side and antique mansions on the other, and a huge old tower at the top of the hill. Definitely worth visiting
Love this place. So cool to walk around and a big open dog park too. Lovely area of the city, you don’t even realize where you are. Check website for when you can go up in the tower, that as awesome too!
