Confirmed from Jasper Riverwalk's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic paved park featuring a 2.1-mile walking trail winding along the Patoka River, plus a playground.

“Quiet, easy and peaceful trail along the river, not too long”
I walk there at least twice a week,it is clean, with views of the river very close in some parts of the trail. It has electric lights for night time strolls. There are benches at several intervals for us older folks that need to rest now and then.
They keep it clean and there are plenty of places to sit down if need be. Very dog friendly. And is all in all a nice place to relax and take a walk with friends and family
I used to go here very often during the summer when I was younger. I would always want to go with my father to ride the trail on our bicycles. It was a very great scenery to ride through and even walk.
Nice place to ride a bike! Mostly shaded and paved. A nice wide wooden walk bridge. Nice scenery. Cornhole/horseshoe pits. Disc golf course. Lots to do!

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
