We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Pioneer Mothers Memorial Forest yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Amazing place to take a hike. The trail was easy to follow and is made for any level of hiker. We seen two snakes while we were there so its full of life. Both ends of the trail have a parking lot so its mainly a there and back trail.

I grew up around the trails of that Park Ben's my mother's property I join the Hoosier National Forest there I wish they'd opened it back up for the public that that's used to be a real nice place to go a picnic Inge and camping and whatnot so I'll give it today and I'll still stay with the five stars but I just wish…

So beautiful! No signage so we drove past but we found it. Wish we had more time to hike. Hope to find our way back soon.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
