Confirmed from Jeffries Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
55-acre wooded wetland property with walking trails, a playground & picnic tables.

“Walking through it was serene and hearing all the nature was very therapeutic and relaxing.”
My favorite local park! Jefferies Creek offers a soothing walk through beautiful bottomland forest with scenic overlooks of deep fishing holes and meandering creek beds. If you are the aquatic type take advantage of the convenient kayak/canoe launch and explore the creek from the water!
I recently moved to Florence and I was looking for new places to explore. I found Jeffries Creek park and I was glad I did. Its a beautiful park. There's a nice little playground and swings. The trails are easy to walk and there's a lot to see. My family and I have been back a few times since our first visit.
Cute little nature trail in upscale Florence neighborhood. There is minimal parking at the entrance, it’s a quiet, peaceful walk.
Nice little park. Good sized play ground. Nice views of the creek. But a very small walk. Watch out for snakes. Shaded walk.

Plan your run at Jeffries Creek Park
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
