Nice park in Western Largo. There is a small boardwalk through the mangroves that goes out to the water. There is a decent sized paved and unpaved (shell) trail through dense wooded areas. There are various trees including oak, palm, and mangrove and plenty of ground cover and brush.
I have grown up with this park and now my daughter is enjoying nature here as well! When I was a kid we would come and dig up Indian artifacts such as arrows and other fossils. You would also catch pet fiddler crabs and fish.

Although the park is small, it provides a quiet natural environment. There are paved paths and a 460-foot-long plank road in the park, which runs through the mangrove swamp and extends to the viewing platform of the Intracoastal Waterway. Standing on the platform, you can enjoy the open water scenery.
