7.4 miles long, narrow bike and walking path along the canal, I started at Colonial Blvd walking south. Past the Page Airport and saw plenty of birds, fishes and other wildlife. Very open so bring a hat, benches and tables with cover at various points. I walked about 3 miles down before turning around to walk back.
This is a great place if you want to go on walking trails. There is no playground, there is no Park. There is a trail that runs alongside the canal and goes all the way down past Twins stadium. It was really cool to be able to go down to the canal, there are areas where you can sit and hang out, maybe have a picnic.
I walk there often and it is a well kept trail. There are many entrances as trail is almost 10 miles. Where I go across road from Sun Harvest is easy parking, a rest room and a beautiful shady trail with some areas with full sun ands canal alongside it.
It's a nice park in the middle of everything it seems. It's my go-to but I don't feel like driving out to my other favorite spot. So if you're in the area, you just want to get a quick walk in without having to fight the traffic too much. Check out this Park. Bring water cuz there are no facilities available.
