Confirmed from Josie’s Ridge via Sink or Swim Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Josie’s Ridge via Sink or Swim Trailhead

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (9 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Nice network of mixed-use trails right in town! You can make a loop or out and back from this trailhead. Very well marked with sign posts at every junction. Good for a quick fix of nature.

★★★★★ — David , Nov 2021

An amazing system of scenic trails irreparably marred by a garish construction site which obliterates the trail near the peak of Mt. Snow king. To whom it may concern: the natural world is not yours to despoil.

★★★★☆ — Matthew , Jul 2022

Nice trail with some steep parts. Beautiful views and great work out. Saturday had other folks but not crowded. Well worth the effort.

★★★★☆ — Lee , Oct 2022

Nice spot to access a vast trail system. This is the "wildlife lane trailhead" according to signs. Smaller lot but not busy on a weekday and seems mostly free from tourists.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
