We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Kadema Drive River Access yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Kadema Drive River Access
“We are so fortunate to have the beautiful American River Parkway in Sacramento.”
We love this trail, where we start from about Kadema drive; which is roughly.5 miles from the bridge (see photo). Enjoy your walk, bike ride or jog. There is a place for more extreme if you’re like me to run up and down the side of the slopes!
Easy to access trail entrance. Parking feels relatively safe. Quiet neighborhood and the general vibe seems relaxing. I wish they would put a water fountain right next to the trail entrance. It’s hot and uncovered in the summer so it’s toasty and water would be a nice compliment to the area
Beautiful area, great for bike riding and nature walks. Also great for fishing and good for taking the kids or dogs.
