Confirmed from Karst Farm Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreation area with athletic fields, picnic shelters, playgrounds & a splash pad, plus a dog park.
What runners say about Karst Farm Park

“Beautiful landscape, a lot of parking!”
“Lots of trees, shaded areas for those hot days.”
Why is there so many soccer fields is my question lol. Cute park to come and grill if you want, they have a handful of shelters, playgrounds, and soccer fields lol. Cute walking trail and disc golf course.
Well maintained and spacious park with several playgrounds scattered throughout the park. Despite it being somewhat out of the way, this park is worth the extra drive. My toddler enjoyed running on the padded astroturf and scaling the forest theme playstruture. There's even a cute scavenger hunt for bugs as well. 10/10
Best park in Monroe County/Bloomington. I see a lot of bird species at Karst Farm. It has been a long time since I have seen a goldfinch, glad I got to see this one the other morning during my walk at Karst Farm.
What a beautiful facility! We came for a lacrosse tournament and walked around the park in between games. Lots of playgrounds, walking paths, picnic shelters, and disc golf spread across a gorgeous area. Fall colors were amazing!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
