Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 10 mentions

“If you have 4 hours to hike and want to see some beautiful views of Beaver Lake, this is your trail.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Very family friendly, few techy spots for the less confident.”

Great trail. Would love to do this one again. Difficulty ratings are subjective but I would say this is on the higher end of easy. No steep inclines or ledges, trail isn't marked but is easily detectable. Shared mountain bike trail. Bikes go counter, so hikers should go clockwise for ease of visibility.

This is a super pretty ride, however, it is not for beginners. It’s definitely an intermediate level bike trail. It is not that demanding physically, nor is it very technical, but if you were to make a mistake, it would take you 10 to 15 feet of falling to recover.

If you have 4 hours to hike and want to see some beautiful views of Beaver Lake, this is your trail. Our family of 6 (kids are 7 - 14 y.o.) finished it in about 4.5 hours including a 20 min break at the lake.

★★★★★ — Lance , May 2023

It was beautiful. A little over an 8 mile ride if your mountain biking just keep in mind there's some areas that are pretty rocky. Took me 1hr and 10 min but I stopped a few times to enjoy the view!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 20 mentions
