Confirmed from Katy Trail - Rocheport Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

We love Katy Trail out of Rocheport. There so much to see along this section, the cliffs and the river are stunning.

Clean, scenic trail. Enjoyed the fresh air and the Missouri River. Will bring bikes next time. Plenty of parking.

Rode the katie trail section located at Rocheport Mo. through the old train tunnel which is supposedly one of very few still left in Missouri. There are restrooms and drinking fountains at the old train depot and a small winery/restaurant across the street.

★★★★★ — Richard , Mar 2026

Very unique little town. Small vineyard style wine store. Really cool resturant with biking as the theme. Everyone in town is receptive to bikers. Lots and lots of places to park. Seems very safe. Modern heated restrooms. Water available. This is very cool along the Katy Trail

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
