Confirmed from Katy Trail - Sedalia Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a biking trail and a museum, along with a playground for kids.
What runners say about Katy Trail - Sedalia Trailhead
“Nice and clean, right next to the Missouri State Fairgrounds.”
“Katy Trail one of my favorite places to run and ride bikes”
This is a great place to enter the trail to take a walk, ride a bike or venture on an e-bike. It is also safe place to walk your pet. This location has free vehicle parking a sheltered picnic area and a mini playground. There is a vaulted restroom and hopefully water hook up as before.
Safe place to park if you are going east on the trail I would park at the Katy Depot on other side of town
Great trail for biking and walking lots of nice people on the trail also.
Nice trail head marked appropriately for parking and good map at the start to let you know where on the Katy trail this trail head is. Good spot to run, walk, hike or ride (horse or bike).
