Confirmed from Vermont Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean, well-maintained park featuring a splash pad, playground and basketball and soccer courts.
What runners say about Vermont Park
“Nice walking track, fun stuff for the kids to climb on, and the bathrooms are clean”
We were visiting from out of town and needed a place for the kiddos to run steam off. Super nice park. We grabbed some fruit and sandwiches items at a local store and had a nice picnic for 2 hours. The kids loved the play ground.
My 3year old grandson and I love to play at this park,! Just wish instead of gravel it had the squishy floor. Nice walking track, fun stuff for the kids to climb on, and the bathrooms are clean
Its an ok park for kids to have some fun.. not many adults go there alone unless it's to walk the track... Puppy dogs are welcome just bring poopy bags to pickup their messes..
Well manicure, nice playground, covered pavilion and wheelchair accessible bathroom and all-around walk way for all, a great picnic eat and meet place.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceCrushed gravel — the rail-trail classic: softer than asphalt, still smooth enough for tempo work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
